Gemini Sidebar ("the Extension") is a Chrome extension that adds a sidebar to Google Gemini for managing questions, bookmarks, and markdown notes. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

• Questions & notes: Text you enter into the sidebar (questions, bookmarks, memo content).
• Page URL: The Gemini conversation URL used to group your questions per session.
• Account email: The Google account email detected on the Gemini page, used to identify your data in cloud storage.

2. How We Use Your Data

Data is stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local and optionally synced to a cloud database (Supabase) for backup and cross-device access. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for cloud data storage. Data transmitted to Supabase is stored securely and subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you use the Extension. You can delete your data at any time using the "완전삭제" (permanent delete) feature within the Extension.

5. Permissions

• storage: To save your questions and notes locally.
• host_permissions (Supabase): To sync data to the cloud.
• gemini.google.com: To inject the sidebar into the Gemini page.
